At N.W. Sewer and Drain, we want to provide the best and most thorough services possible to our clients. Our award-winning services include specializing in what is called trenchless technology. Trenchless technology is used as an environmentally friendly, affordable, and faster options for our clients. In connection to this trenchless technology, a sewer camera is inserted into two small holes made into the landscaping and our highly-trained technicians examine the pipes from this small access point. You may be wondering how this technology can determine the problem with the pipe system. It may seem to you that such a small camera couldn’t possibly determine that much detail underground, but this assumption is farther from the truth.
1. The Equipment
The equipment used in trenchless technology consist of sewer cameras and a hydro-jet which is highly pressurized water to help assist with any blockages or damages within the pipe system. The sewer cameras are connected to hose attachments which enable the equipment to enter the point of access and follow the pipeline seeking to determine the precise damage.
2. Picture and Depth
A sewer camera is catching more than just a couple of pictures of the plumbing system. A light is connected to the camera and in addition it takes more than pictures. When a sewer line inspection is performed, it also records video of the condition of the pipes. A sewer camera, also known as TV technology, does more than just record video of what it sees. These sewer cameras are also able to measure the depth and diameter of a blockage within the pipeline.
3. Trained Technicians
Our specialized trained associates insert the camera into the ground designated for the sewer camera. Once the video both records and measures the debris our trustworthy associates will be able to determine exactly how much pressurized water is needed to clear out the debris from the plumbing system.
N.W. Sewer and Drain wants to provide the most accurate and convenient method to our clients. If you are experiencing any plumbing problems, please contact us today and we will be happy to assist you.
